Super 8 projector flicker

I have a Bell and Howell, Super 8 Autoload projectgor, model 456. I haven't used it in quite awhile, and I am having an intermittent problem with "flickering". I'm not sure if that's the right term, but the picture on the screens flickers up and down occasionally. Any tips on what I could do? (other than go to Ebay and buy a another one). It works great other than this flicker.
